Since the store has embraced so lovingly the Petit Petite (a petite sirah/petit verdot blend), I decided I would like to just take a night to pour some other wines out of the Michael and David portfolio. Plus, they are giving me a free coffin display for the wine, which I thought was really cool. I think once I empty the wine out of it, I am going to fill it with snack cakes. Mmm... Anyway, to build anticipation, I am going to make you wait to find out the final list of tasting wines (This is just another way of saying that I haven't picked them all out yet).

I don't know if I should be really sneaky and turn this into another BrandyWine blind taste-off. Hmmm...let me think on this on for a little bit. I can promise three things at this point though: 1 - we will be tasting pinot noirs from oregon 2 - we will have special pricing on these pinot noirs for one night only 3 - it will make you smile. As a matter of fact, you should be smiling right now just thinking about it. Sigh...

Ask and you shall receive. I have had so many people ask when we are doing another session of self-defense, so here it is. The last session we had was phenomenal. The instructors taught us skills that no woman should be without. The class also comes with a 240 lb. man on which to practice the techniques you learn. You MUST prove you can perform each skill correctly or you don't get any wine! I am desperate to make sure that as many ladies as possible learn these skills. You are NEVER too busy to miss something like this.
We are now offering $5 Monday Mania where all wines open on the bar menu will be $5 per glass. You never know what jewel I will sneak in on the menu, so you have to stop in to see what it is. We will have some nibbles available for purchase as well.

Come join us every Wednesday evening for BrandyWine Flight Night. A wine flight is a sampling of 3 different wines (3 oz pours each) for roughly the same price as a glass of wine. Starting at 5pm to close (whenever that is), you can purchase 3-3oz. pours of the wines we are highlighting on the bar for $8.
