It is beyond me why I haven't hosted such a tasting before, but I am thrilled to get the opportunity to do so now.  Southern Rhone is what I like to call the Disney World of wine.  There are so many areas that produce some of the most wonderful, lucious, majestic wines.  We will try to do the opportunity justice, but there are so many great areas to represent, that we just can't cover them all.  We will try to pour from regions such as Cotes du Rhone, Chateaneuf du Pape, Gigondas, etc.  Salivating on the bar is not allowed.
